Common questions

What do I need to prepare before a session?
Your date of birth, time of birth (as accurate as possible) and city of birth. If you do not know the exact time, tell us — we can work with an approximate window and will say so in the report.
Do you guarantee any outcome?
No. We offer cultural insight and a structured way to think about timing and choices. We do not predict fixed outcomes, and we do not give medical, legal, financial or investment advice.
Can I ask about someone else?
We read charts for the person who books and, with their consent, for family members included in an Annual Family Guidance plan. We do not read charts for third parties without consent.
How is payment handled?
After you submit a booking request we email you a secure payment link and confirm your time. We do not ask for payment by wire to a personal account.
What if I need to reschedule?
Reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your session at no charge. Inside 24 hours we apply a short-notice fee; the details are in our terms.

Daoist cultivation retreat

Five days at a working Daoist temple — not a hotel classroom. You keep the temple rhythm, join the daily services, and study the classical texts in both languages. Groups are 12–16 people, led bilingually.

  • Morning service, standing practice and breath work
  • Bilingual reading of the Qingjing Jing and selected Daode Jing passages
  • Guided movement practice and ceremonial observation
  • One-to-one written guidance handed over on the final morning

  • Included: temple or nearby lodging, vegetarian meals, bilingual materials, all sessions
  • Not included: travel to and from the location, personal purchases
  • A three-day compact version is available
  • Companies can book a private cohort of 15–20 with a team module
Dates and fees. Each cohort is confirmed by email — places are limited to 12–16. Email hello@echeng.work with “Retreat” in the subject line for the upcoming schedule. If you have dietary restrictions or health considerations, tell us when you book and we will adjust the arrangements.
